Magnificent Diamond Necklace, 'Ivresse', Cartier

Designed as a cascade of diamonds, composed of brilliant-cut, pear- and marquise-shaped stones, the front accented with a floral motif and suspending a fringe of nine pear-shaped diamonds weighing 2.01, 3.21, 7.34, 12.04, 20.38, 10.25, 6.52, 3.42 and 2.25 carats. 
Total diamond weight 190.77 carats, maximum length approximately 450mm, minimum length 420mm, signed Cartier, numbered, fitted case by Cartier.

The three largest diamonds weighing 10.25, 12.04 and 20.38 carats have been recertified by the GIA, and are each D Colour, VVS2 Clarity, Type IIa, each with a working diagram stating that the diamonds may be internally flawless after minor repolishing. These minor surface abrasions are consistent with normal wear.

Louis XV Gilt Musical
Rhinoceros Table Clock

A Louis XV gilt-bronze, bronze and Vernis Martin musical rhinoceros table clock, circa 1748, attributed to Jean-Joseph de Saint-Germain.
5½-inch enamel dial signed Gudin A Paris with blue roman numerals, the similarly signed bell striking movement with numbered uncut outside count wheel and silk suspension. The drum case surmounted by a seated putto and raised on the back of a crisply cast brown patinated rhinoceros standing on a rocaille base, the bombé wood plinth painted to resemble tortoiseshell and outlined with well-cast gilt-bronze leaf mounts, inset with trellis frets and applied at the front with a rococo mount of a basket of flowers. The similarly signed musical movement connected to the the clock through the leg of the animal and playing one of thirteen tunes on a carillon of eleven bells with twenty hammers at the hour, the mounts stamped with the crowned 'C' poinçon mark.

Important Platinum, Emerald and Diamond Pendant

Suspending an emerald-cut emerald weighing 35.02 carats, topped by four old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately .35 carats.

Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 66540 stating that the emerald is of Classic Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant, type: traditional.

Of geometric design, each kite-shaped motif set with an oval cabochon sapphire surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds and framed with polished onyx and round cabochon rubies. Length approximately 180mm, mark for Bulgari, numbered, French import and maker's marks

Each set with a carved emerald leaf, within a frame of cabochon rubies, ruby beads and baguette and single-cut diamonds, the clip fittings backed with mother-of-pearl. Each signed Cartier and numbered, French assay marks with fitted case stamped Cartier.

The Rothschild Necklace

Elegant and Rare Platinum, Emerald, Sapphire, Lapis Lazuli and Diamond Pendant-Necklace, Designed by Charles Jacqueau for Cartier, Paris.
In the style of Mughal Empire art, the necklace combining elements of Indian and Persian decorative traditions.  The pendant suspending a hexagon-shaped emerald, an oval-shaped sapphire and a pear-shaped emerald, all carved with Mughal floral motifs, completed by a necklace composed of 41 sapphire beads, spaced by 80 lapis lazuli beads and diamond-set rondelles, further applied with diamond and lapis lazuli accents.
 Length 29 inches, adjustable, signed Cartier, Paris, numbered 0310, with French assay and partial workshop marks; circa 1924.
